Welcome to Rougham School. We hope you and your children will enjoy being part of our community. We aim to achieve the highest standards of education within a caring and purposeful environment. We have an experienced and dedicated staff who are committed to working in close partnership with you. Our team is well supported by an enthusiastic and involved Governing Body. We are fortunate in having spacious and attractive accommodation in a delightful natural setting. We are proud of our school, which we believe has a special “family‟ atmosphere – busy and welcoming. Our school motto is “Creative Thinking, Active Learning‟. If you have any further questions once you have read our prospectus, or if you would like to see more of the school, we would very much welcome a visit from you.

On behalf of the Governing Body I would like to welcome you to our school – we have a strong and supportive group of governors who all share a common vision of the school as an inclusive and challenging environment which offers a great education to its pupils and plays an active part in our local community. All our Governors actively support the Headteacher and staff in achieving the school’s aims and objectives, whilst constantly seeking to improve our high standards of attainment across the curriculum. Rougham is a small school with a really friendly atmosphere that results from the commitment, enthusiasm and cooperation of pupils, staff, parents and governors alike – something I am sure you will see and hear when visiting. It’s a happy place to both work and learn. I hope to be in school each Tuesday morning should you need to speak to me to discuss any school issues or ideas you may have. Alternatively please contact the school office for my email address.
Terry Jennings. Chairman of Governors
A list of staff and governors can be found in the school prospectus.
