"As a learning community we are committed to creative thinking and active learning."

Rougham CEVC Primary School, Church Road, Rougham, Suffolk, IP30 9JJ 01359 270288 school@roughamprimary.net

Welcome to Rougham School.
On behalf of the children staff and governors, I warmly welcome you to Rougham Primary School.
Our School has spacious grounds set in the beautiful Suffolk Countryside and is situated next to Rougham Church. We are a Church of England School and maintain close links with the church making full use of the facilities it offers.
I feel extremely proud and privileged to be the Head teacher at the School and to lead such a united and dedicated team of teachers supported by an extremely hardworking board of governors.
It is our top priority to provide and maintain an environment in which the children can flourish and reach their potential and progress confidently on to the next phase of their education. We aim to provide a positive experience for the children with a varied and engaging curriculum.
You will find our classrooms to be hives of activity, full of creativity with the children happy and focused on their learning. We have a safe, secure and caring environment with a family atmosphere, where good behaviour is promoted at all times.
Parent involvement is welcomed in their child’s education as we believe that children learn best when staff and parents work in partnership.
We hope you find our website clear, informative and easy to navigate.
If you would like to know more about our school you are very welcome to come and visit and see us in action!
Kind regards,
Diane Grimes

On behalf of the Governing Body I would like to welcome you to our school.
We have a strong and supportive group of governors who all share a common vision of the school as an inclusive and challenging environment which offers a great education to its pupils and plays an active part in our local community.
All our Governors actively support the Headteacher and staff in achieving the school’s aims and objectives, whilst constantly seeking to improve our high standards of attainment across the curriculum.
Rougham is a small school with a really friendly atmosphere that results from the commitment, enthusiasm and cooperation of pupils, staff, parents and governors alike – something I am sure you will see and hear when visiting. It’s a happy place to both work and learn.
I hope to be in school each Tuesday morning should you need to speak to me to discuss any school issues or ideas you may have. Alternatively please contact the school office for my email address.
Terry Jennings
Chairman of Governors
