The Eco Council have been feeding the birds again this week, as they had eaten all the nuts, seeds and fat balls we had put out for them. We also did a tally of the birds we could see in the school grounds and around the school boundary. This was part of the Big Schools Bird Watch, which is run each year by the RSPB. Our results will be uploaded to the RSPB website shortly.
In March, we will be leading a whole school assembly to promote Waste Week, which is designed to raise awareness of the need to reduce the amount of waste people throw away. Each class will take part in a recycling day, where we will be using containers and waste we might usually throw away, in interesting and creative ways.
