Mornings

We have a school bus which links the school with Hessett village. This arrives at school just before 8.40am and collects the children at 3pm.
If you arrive after the registers have been taken, you will be asked to sign the late book.
Children coming to school from Woodlands (wrap-around care 8am - 6pm) will be signed in by a member of staff. Woodlands building is adjacent to the school.
Please see the Acorns & Woodlands page for more information about before and after school care.

We aim to have playtimes outside in most weathers so please ensure that your child has suitable clothing. Fruit is provided by the government for children in Key Stage 1.  Children in Willow class also have the option of a free drink of milk and for other children who wish to have milk daily it is available to order on-line via the coolmilk system.  Please see office staff for more information.

Lunchtime

Our meals are cooked on our premises by Mrs Sheila Cocksedge.  We use Suffolk County Catering, known as ‘Vertas’ who provide well balanced and nutritious menus.  Please see the Lunches page of the website for more information

End of the day

Children are collected from the front playground.  If someone other than the parent or regular minder is collecting your child, it is important that you let us know. We will not let your child go with someone we do not know.
Children attending Woodlands are taken across by a member of our school staff.
The oldest children (Lime and Maple Class) are allowed to walk home without an adult collecting them but we need a letter from parents stating that this is the case.  A member of staff sees children safely across to the start of the Mouse Lane footpath so they do not cross Church Road on their own.
