Spring Term 2018
It has certainly been a busy half term in Oak Class. The children, once again, have shown enthusiasm for their learning across the curriculum and have produced some really fabulous work over the past few weeks. We have all enjoyed starting our new History topic, with the children creating some super Viking helmets and beginning to learn about the lives of the Vikings. In Science, we have been creating branching databases to classify liquorice allsorts and invertebrates and have used the laptops to create Super Bug Top Trumps cards for the class. In English, the children have been drawing story maps to plan their ideas for stories set in imaginary worlds, with some fabulous writing being produced as a result. While in PE, they have been working hard to improve their skills in gymnastics.
I can't wait to see what the next half term has in store.
Well done Oak Class!
Autumn Term 2017
Oak class have had an excellent first term in Year 4 and have really enjoyed getting creative, and helping others whilst designing and making their Greek vases. Myself and Mrs Kemp have been very impressed with how the children are able to give and receive constructive feedback from their classmates. Their positive attitude to their learning and their desire to improve is great to see. Well done everyone!
We hope you enjoy looking at pictures of some of our learning during the Autumn term.
