We foster a vision of guiding and inspiring every child to fulfil their potential in a nurturing Christian environment. We aspire to instil within young people the desire to pursue excellence and to be confident, positive and compassionate members of society who demonstrate respect for others.
In our commitment to achieve the above we aim;
These aims are integral to all that we do along with our School Values and Learning Powers.
Values for Life
As a Church School we actively promote and use Christian Values for Life. Each half term (six times a year) we focus on a different Value for Life. Each week we have a whole school assembly to start the week followed by a mixture of class assemblies and key stage assemblies. We use stories from the Bible and real life to develop the values.
Our values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy citizens.
Building Learning Powers
Resilience, relationships, remembering, resourcefulness, reflective.
Our Learning Powers;
Rougham Primary School is part of the Tilian Partnership whose vision is to give pupils the best start in life by providing an excellent grounding in key skills, as well as building character and developing confidence. The Partnership’s aim is to instil young people with the desire to reach their potential and to be responsible, compassionate members of the community who demonstrate respect for others.
